Introducing the Help Desk’s first Book of the Week, “The Return of the King” by J.R.R. Tolkien! For when you just want to read the one with the elephants, this well-loved paperback of Tolkien’s classic can be found at the Little Free Library across from the 4th floor MPR at 614!
Our first Fall ’23 Pet of the Week is Thumbelina! This 4-month old beagle loves being held, the great outdoors, and playing with ice cubes! Thanks for sharing Thumbelina with us Delia!
This week’s Pets of the Week are the new Geese on the block! These geese moved in right across from the help desk on the neighboring ledge (4 floors up!). Next time you stop by the desk, keep an eye out for our new feathered friends.
This week’s Pet of the Week is Hershey! This super friendly labradoodle is three years old. Not only does Hershey love to snuggle and play, but he’s a trained service dog! Way to go Hershey!

Pigeon earned her name from the little coo-ing sound she makes when she purrs! She particularly loves chin & belly scratches and napping in the sun!
