Pet of the Week! 7/7/23

This is Oliver (cat) and Pickles (turtle). Oliver has two different eyes and we rescued him back in 2018. They told us he was feral and wouldn’t be cuddly towards humans. Now he is the biggest baby and loves all the attention despite my family having two other cats. He knows how to sit, and he loves when you do x marks the spot on his back. Pickles loves his worms and is a red ear turtle that loves you when in the water but when its bath time he pretends like he was never that interested in getting to know you.

Meet Dorian!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Dorian! Named after Dorian Gray, this little cutie loves lounging on feet, tricking you into giving him second dinner, and “play fetch!”. We hope you’re all enjoying your summer as much as Dorian is!

Meet Duck-Duck & Goose!

This week’s Pet of the Week feature is a twofer: Duck-Duck & Goose!

These brothers were found living in a vending machine. They are both pretty basic cats except that Duck-Duck won’t lie down like a cat. You must pet him while he stands up as hard as he can. Goose loves to have his armpits stretched for him, and if that goes into a hug he’s all about it. He will not stop screaming until his mom does this every morning.

Meet Walter!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Walter!

Walter is a gentlemanly cat who loves chasing worm toys around the house or scaling the door frames when he gets the zoomies.

Meet Camilla!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Camilla (“Mimi”)!

Named after Virgil’s warrior queen of the Volsci, she lives up to her torbie nature and is both spicy and incredibly lazy. Her hobbies include screaming all the time and playing with her green duck squeaky toy.

Meet Ziggy Stardust!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Ziggy Stardust!

Ziggy Stardust is a three-year-old biscuit maker, adopted from the Champaign County Humane Society. His hobbies include drinking water out of plant propagation jars, smacking his brother, following mom around, and cuddling.

Meet Bella!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Bella!

Bella loves strawberries, snuggling with her brother Peanut, and being left alone by her youngest brother Rupert. She adores being told how pretty she is. In her free time, she loves dancing with her human.

Pigeon earned her name from the little coo-ing sound she makes when she purrs! She particularly loves chin & belly scratches and napping in the sun!

Meet Bandya!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Bandya!

This gorgeous kitty loves following his human’s mom around, sleeping in air-conditioning, and climbing anywhere and everywhere in the house. Bandya tries very hard to be a good boy, and we are certain he is the best boy ever!

This kitty is both a little bit chunky and a little bit sassy, but also so full of love! She’s originally from the streets of Chicago, but prefers chewing on paper towels or toilet paper over deep dish!
