Meet Arthur!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Arthur!

This “collie something-or-other” is only a few months old, but he’s just about to go into training! He currently works hard by helping Mom around the farm (his job is to sniff all the critters). Great work Arthur!

Arthur, the brown and cream collie, sits on a tractor where a person's feet would go. He is clearly hard at work on the farm.

iSchool Pet Diplomas December ’22

Hey, iSchoolers!

We want to honor the real MVPs who give us that extra boost of willpower to get our degrees. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has vested the iSchool Help Desk the power to award honorary degrees to any pet who has helped their human through their time at the iSchool. If you have a pet at home who has stuck by your side through all of the Zoom sessions and homework assignments, then download a Diploma and fill it out for them!

We have diplomas for every program at the iSchool, plus a blank template for any other degrees that they may have earned along the way. If you’re on campus, you can also stop by the help desk ( 4th floor at 614 E Daniel) and pick up a hard copy!

Lastly, please email us at ischool-support@illinois.edu with a picture of your pet and their diploma to have your pet featured on our social media!

"iSchool Pet Diplomas. Are you an iSchool student who is graduating this semester? Do you have a trusty pet who stuck by your side throughout your degree? Award your hardworking pet with their own iSchool diploma!"

Meet Bandya!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Bandya!

This gorgeous kitty loves following his human’s mom around, sleeping in air-conditioning, and climbing anywhere and everywhere in the house. Bandya tries very hard to be a good boy, and we are certain he is the best boy ever!

Two images of Bandya, a medium-haired brown tabby, are side by side on a graphic. In the left image, Bandya walks towards a candle flame in the foreground, the flame illuminates his face as he stares it down. In the right image, Bandya looks off to the left; his eyes are wide, as if he is surprised.

Meet Muse!

This week’s Pet of the Week is Muse!

Muse is a one-year-old domestic shorthair kitty with a white tummy and armpits! Her favorite hobbies are meowing for attention, unraveling balls of yarn, climbing coats, digging for toys in the couch, and getting into a meerkat pose to look out the window at birds and squirrels. When she’s not causing mischief for her owners Laurel & Mark, she can be found on their laps or in her cat tower warped in seemingly uncomfortable napping positions. Everyone at the Help Desk adores Muse and her groovy sense of style!
