Welcome to “Principles of Safe Autonomy” (ECE 498 SM). In this class, we dive into the fundamental algorithms for building autonomous systems (e.g., neural networks, support vector machines, path planning, particle filtering, and hybrid verification) and play with the latest and coolest software tools (e.g., Righthook simulator, Pytorch, OpenAI gym, ROS). The class meets Mondays and Wednesdays 2-3:20 pm at ECEB 3015. See the schedule for an outline of topics.
We gratefully acknowledge the support from the following sponsors. Righthook for your simulator, Galois for sponsoring the course project prize and dinner, and AutonomousStuff for the GEM platform!
