Saeed Arida
Background:
Saeed Arida is the founder of NuVu, a magnet school for high schools to foster innovation based on the architectural design studio. Located in Massachusetts, students from private schools are enrolled in NuVu for a semester to take a different approach to learning, focusing on multi-disciplinary, collaborative projects.
Student Comments:
I think this is a pretty enlightening program, despite only being a private school system where it seems like only the most affluent could attend. I think having this studio space more of a field trip destination might be an effective way to reach out to more than just 20 students every few months. – RS
Nuvu is a great idea. The idea of allowing high school students to go through architectural experience in their early age is just awesome.
