Who is Larry Kanfer?
Larry started his entrepreneurial business while attending college to help pay for school. What began as a small business selling portraits, eventually turned into the beautiful landscape photography everyone knows of today. After graduating from the University of Illinois in 1979, Larry immediately opened his own gallery. He has been successfully running his business for over 30 years with his wife Alaina. Together, they manage every aspect of the business.

Why Did We Visit?
Students can easily relate to Larry Kanfer. He is an Architecture student turned Photographer who chose to follow his hobby as a career path. He went from a small business out of his apartment to a gallery in Champaign and is a great example for students to listen to and learn from his experiences.
