What is Red Frog?
Red Frog is an event production company headquartered in Chicago with currently only 100 employees. They produce all of their work out of this office for events all over the country. Events include Warrior Dash, Great Urban Race, and Firefly.
The Field Trip
Our class went to Red Frog to be immersed in the creative work environment that they embrace as a culture. Their camp-themed office utilizes creative and fun spaces that promote work, play, and collaboration among all members.
Some notable comments from students:
Red Frog also was not an architecture firm, but their ‘pond’ layout works very well for the type of work they do. The employees are able to sit near one another; they have conference rooms and break spaces of different sizes for different size meetings. They do not have studio space, but they do have lots of white board and collaboration areas. The good part about their office is that you can always get a flavor for what everyone else is working on because it is so open and all the events are cataloged in public areas. – CR
