The MCRL is dedicated to researching anything and everything that has to deal with  how the brain interacts with everyday functions. Some of our major focuses include the following:

  • Balancing well enough to confidently walk
  • Walking and carrying on conversations (multitasking)
  • Falling while walking

We offer several studies that cover everything from balance exercises, walking, cognition, and fall prevention.

Our research equipment helps us effectively examine our ideas to see how we can help others.

Our lab director, Dr. Jacob Sosnoff, and his research team have many publications in this area as well.

Whether it’s researching, training, or presenting, MCRL takes great pride in helping the larger community find answers to the mobility problems so many face.
