Collaboration Studies

The MCRL is working with other labs on the following projects.

Seated Exercise and Transfer Training  (SEATT)

This study is an intervention based program which attempts to measure and improve the seated postural control (ability to maintain  seated balance) of non-ambulatory people with MS in hopes to improve their transfer abilities. This study focuses on giving proper transfer education to the participants and teaching them low intensity exercises to strengthen their core muscles.

Acute exercise, spasticity and functional outcomes in MS (SPASMS)

This study investigates the effect of cycling exercises of different durations and intensity on lower extremity spasticity management in individuals with MS.
