Tornado Reconnaissance Paper Published

A new paper is now published in the ASCE Journal of Performance of Constructed Facilities on the investigation undertaken by Prof. James LaFave and Prof. Larry Fahnestock following the EF5 tornado that occurred on May 20, 2013 in Moore, Oklahoma.  Their trip was sponsored by the CEE Rapid Response Grant Program, which is designed to support high-impact research related to infrastructure improvement and societal risk management in the wake of disasters.  Following the reconnaissance trip, CEE REU students Zhengboyang Gao, Donovan Holder and Michael Kuo assisted with data analysis, synthesis and documentation.
