These instructions are intended only for the Digital Media team who need to edit the source video file of an entry in Illinois Media Space. Please do not use these instructions to provide the raw video files to instructors or others without getting prior consent. These videos are the property of the University of Illinois and should not be distributed in a manner that would allow them to be published through other means.
In order to retrieve the source file of an Illinois Media Space entry, you must first have the owner or co-editor permission on that entry. As an owner or co-editor, select the Edit option from the Actions menu. The following “edit” page will contain a video player that contains a download link in the player menu bar. This will download the source file to your local computer.
