The Race Card Project

1/16 of an inch isn’t everything

Racism is solely based on a tiny visual difference in the pigmentation of our skin.  We as humans are essentially all the same past that 1/16 of an inch that is our skin; the same organs, veins, hearts, brains, etc.  There is no reason that the color of a person’s skin should cause tension or discrimination since it is in no way even a personal choice let alone something that is bad.  There are so many other layers to human beings than what color skin they have.  People have personalities, likes and dislikes, hobbies, cultures – the list goes on and on.  The amount of depth any human has to their personality alone is unfathomable, and yet judgments are being made based on a trait that has no impact on who a person is.
