Inclusive Illinois, one campus, many voices, is the University’s commitment to cultivating a community at Illinois where everyone is welcomed, celebrated, and respected. Inclusive Illinois Day gives colleges and units the opportunity to demonstrate, celebrate, and educate about their efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within the student, staff, and faculty populations at Illinois.

Content Test before Student Teaching

Hello seniors in the Minor and BAT,

I just wanted to send you a note to remind you that before you can begin your student teaching experience, you must pass the Content Test in your subject area.  You can go to http://www.icts.nesinc.com/IL_prepare_opener.asp for information on study guides and more.  Please do not delay in checking test dates and signing up if you have not already done so.

Dates and Deadlines in September

Hello students, I wanted to let you know of some important dates and deadlines this month. Please remember to go to https://wiki.cites.uiuc.edu/wiki/display/awsepw/Important+Dates+-+Fall+2012 for the dates and deadlines for the entire Fall semester.

September 10th – ADD DEADLINE

This is the deadline to add a semester long course.  Hereafter, it is much more of a process for you to add courses, so if there are changes to your schedule that you want to make, try to do so before this Friday.  Please don’t confuse this date with the Drop Deadline, that comes later.  If you are confused about whether to add a course or about your schedule overall, you can feel free to make an appointment with me by calling 217.333.2800.

September 17th – Adva’s birthday

Ok, so this one isn’t as critical to your life as a student, but is fun to share!  I’ve been alive for 31 years!

September 21st – Deadline to Drop, CR/NC, or elect Grade Replacement in a first half-session course

If you are currently enrolled in a first 8 week course, then this deadline could be significant for you.
