Minority Enrichment Program at Urbana High School needs tutors!

We have a big need for tutors in our Minority Enrichment Program at UHS.  Brigitte has done a great job of getting our UHS students to come in for lunch hour tutoring but she doesn’t have any help during 4th hour. Fourth hour is from 10:42-11:36 M,T,TH,F and 10:15-11:09 on W.  The MEP Program was started to provide extra support for minority students in upper level classes. This focus continues although any student may come in for tutoring help.  Currently, there are quite a few students who are looking for tutoring during their fourth hour lunch but no tutors available. Help in math is the greatest need.

Private Tutor needed, especially math

This private tutoring opportunity is only for students currently in the secondary education minor, not students who are not yet in the minor.  This will not count toward the 50 hours needed to enter the minor.
