Re: PK-12 Teaching Jobs
Since 1902, Southern Teachers Agency has helped candidates find teaching and coaching jobs in private & independent schools in the South. It is our hope that you will consider forwarding this email to students interested in teaching.
Uplift’s mission is to create and sustain public schools of excellence that empower each student to reach their highest potential in college and the global marketplace and that inspire in students a life-long love of learning, achievement, and service in order to positively change their world.
ABOUT CITY YEAR
City Year is an education focused, nonprofit organization that unites young people of all backgrounds for a year of full-time service to keep students in school and on track to graduation. At City Year’s 24 urban locations across the United States and two international affiliates, teams of highly-trained corps members serve full-time in schools as
tutors, mentors and role models. By focusing on attendance, behavior and course performance, which identify students who are at risk of dropping out, corps members are uniquely able to help students and schools succeed.
Help a community in need, gain valuable skills, become a global citizen.
Every year the Peace Corps recruits dedicated people to fill thousands of program assignments – with a special emphasis on applicants with degrees and experience in Education and English teaching. Education Volunteers team-teach or directly teach English, health, literacy, math, and science. Education Volunteers strengthen local capacity by training and mentoring teachers in primary and secondary schools, teacher training colleges, and universities. Volunteers work with teachers to improve participatory teaching methodologies, inclusion practices, classroom management, authentic assessments, parental involvement, and gender equality in the classroom. They also create after-school programs, clubs, and camps for boys and girls to promote HIV/AIDS prevention and life skills.
When it comes to student success, nothing at school matters more than the quality of the teacher at the front of the class. Chicago Teaching Fellows is a highly selective program that trains accomplished professionals and outstanding recent college graduates to become excellent teachers for Chicago schools.
This private tutoring opportunity is only for students currently in the secondary education minor, not students who are not yet in the minor. This will not count toward the 50 hours needed to enter the minor.
Looking for tutor to work with High School student 3 days a week. Time is flexible, after school hours or evening. I would like the tutor to help review homework all subjects with a special emphasis on math. Please email me if you are interested. Will pay going rate.
