Financial educator Karen Chan will be leading our session titled “Investing Made Simple,” where she will make stocks, bonds and mutual funds crystal clear using the story of a young company and its investors. We have a STEM alumni panel featuring Dr. Alicia Cintora (’14), Dalia Portillo (’19) and Alondra Sanchez (’20) on Monday April 26th @ 4pm. Our panelists have a wide range of experiences across STEM fields in industry and academia and will be discussing life at and after UIUC! Parker Lords Career Panel – Wednesday, April 9th @ 5pm CT
Next Wednesday April 14th @ 5 pm, SACNAS and Friends will be hosting a career panel with representatives from Parker-Lord. Our panelists will be more than happy to answer any career questions you may have related to education, corporate life, etc. In addition, information will be shared on current job openings (e.g. fall internships) at Parker Lord and how you can apply! Latinas in STEM Panel – Tuesday, March 16th @ 4pm CT
Please join us Tuesday, March 16th at 4 pm CT for a panel with three accomplished Latinas in STEM! Dr. Maria Mouchess (23andMe), Dr. Gabriela Sosa (Texas A&M), and Dr. Yolanda Vasquez (Oklahoma State) will join us to discuss their respective experiences in STEM fields.
