This event was conceived with the goal to equip Black and Latinx communities with the latest information on the virus given that these groups have been disproportionately affected.

Volunteer Opportunity: Girls in STEM

Interested in helping inspire and empower middle school girls to pursue science and math careers? We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Expanding Your Horizons – Chicago conference on Saturday, March 30th at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). EYH Chicago is a one-day conference where 300 middle school girls participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math workshops. It is an exciting event for both girls and volunteers, and we hope you will help make this year’s conference a success! More information can be found on our website at
