Prop Design for Quantum Voyages

Creator: Lilla Szini

Description: Quantum Voyages was a performance piece investigating the various phenomena of the Quantum world. The props were all hand-picked to meet the criteria of the play and help bring it to life. In the first scene, lawn chairs were picked out to paint the picture of two wanderers sleeping outside in a prairie. In the clue scene, the actual game of clue was utilized as well as all of the weapon props, such as wrench, rope, and knife to allow the characters to be a living clue game. Props such as chairs, wine glasses, and coffee table were chosen to give the scene a posh-interior feeling. Many other props were all chosen to fit the scientific, yet dated feel of the play and helped bring the whole production together.

She is on her last semester and was thrilled to be a part of the Arts Meets Physics course with Professor Vishveshwara.  She hand selected all of the props and worked with the cast for the best use of the props for Quantum Voyages.
