Big 10 Career Expo
Friday, March 14th, from 9AM-3PM, the Big Ten conference in Indianapolis is hosting a Career Expo! The Expo is a unique opportunity for employers to connect with students and alumni from all 12 prestigious universities that make up the Big Ten. The conference is currently comprised of the University of Illinois, Indiana University, University of Iowa, Michigan State University of Michigan, University of Minnesota, University of Nebraska, Northwestern University, Ohio State University, Penn State University, Purdue University and the University of Wisconsin. The Capital Markets Group
The Capital Markets Group on Campus is hosting a Webinar from Akuna Capital
Tuesday, March 4th, 5PM at Wohlers Hall 245
Akuna Capital is a fast-growing derivatives trading firm located in downtown Chicago that specializes in market-making and arbitrage. Founded in 2011, Akuna has quickly grown from a start-up to a successful leader on US options and futures exchanges with imminent plans for international expansion. At the meeting, Akuna Capital Co-Founders Andrew Killion (CEO) and Mitchell Skinner (Head of Trading) as well as Senior Trader Peter Berger will be attending the webinar and walk through the general questions regarding proprietary trading and tips on trading interviews. The Capital Markets Group at UIUC was established to provide students, interested in the capital markets and passionate about trading, with the guidance and tools necessary to gain hands-on experience in investment research and portfolio management.
