[1] Variable Temperature Variable Field Magnetic Circular Dichroism

Closed cycled crysostat (Oxford SpectromagPT) with magnetic capability of 7 T at temperatures ranging from 1.6 K to 300 K

Spectrophotometer (JASCO J-1700 CD Spectrometer)enabling both CD and absorbance measurements over the full UV-Vis-NIR (163-2500 nm) window with automatic detector interchange to obtain both far-UV and NIR measurements at once.

[2] Infrared Spectrometer (Shared with Murphy and Mirica group)

Nicolet iS50 Fourier-transform Infrared Spectrometer (FTIR) with built in attenuated total reflectance (ATR) mode. The spectrometer enables measurement on spectral range of 15 to 27,000 cm^-1.

[3] In situ UV-Vis Spectrophotometer

UV-Vis spectrophotometer coupled with fiber optic cable for in situ spectroscopic measurements

Tube furnaces with gas manifolds for solid-gas manipulations
