Biography: Sayantani is native of Howrah (West Bengal), India. She completed her bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Jadavpur University Kolkata and master’s degree in chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Thereafter, she joined University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for her doctoral studies in materials chemistry and subsequently joined Snyder group in Fall 2022. She is currently working on the spectroscopic investigation of copper-oxygen reactive intermediates in zeolites to convert methane to methanol. She likes to spend her free time in photography and drawing.
