Reflection

This assignment was my least successful one. Even though it was a low stakes assignment, it is still important. Unfortunately, I didn’t grasp what I was trying to write. I understood the assignment, but my thoughts and ideas didn’t reflect how I wanted them too in my writing. I did not summarize my secondary source very well. Right off the bat, I should have put in the title that it was a summary. That was an easy change to make.

There was a lot of simple grammar and sentence structures that I needed to redo, so I made sure to fix it. I tried making this summary flow better and sound more like an actual summary. Next time, I need to make sure I hit every detail and go over it a lot more. This assignment made me realize that I need to go over everything more. It would be a smart idea to look how a summary is suppose to look, so I can make sure mine is one as well. This is a perfect example of learning from your mistakes. This ties really well with my metaphor skiing because not every run down the slope is going to be perfect. You have to learn what you did wrong so you can perfect it and grow as a skier.
