MotoPress’s documentation and demo site have more details, and the Publish.illinois.edu Template for a Conference’s Schedule section has a working example. However, roughly speaking, you’ll want to:

• Decide whether you’re using the vertical columns of your timetable to represent rooms at a conference or days of the week
• Create your columns
• Decide on your categorization scheme
• Add events that take place at particular times and in particular columns (whether those columns are rooms or days)
• Create a filter that displays the group of events you wish to display and use it to build your timetable
