Kenya’s first National Science, Technology and Innovation Week exhibition featured an Antiflatoxin and Grain Prevention device that is 90% effective in preventing food spoilage in grains. Inventor Michael Makuthu used porous tubes, water, and table salt to provide ventilation and cooling in a sustainable manner and has 50 farmers already using his device.
