Metaphors

Writing is a process, so it would make sense to compare writing to another process. Designing a building is a process, and a long path awaits between the brainstorming and the completed construction of a building. As an architecture major, designing is a process that I will become very familiar with.

Tennis is also a process that can also take a long time, especially if playing with ad and both teams play at an equal level. I love the game of tennis because it is a life long sport. Nothing feels greater than hitting a powerful serve or hit that the opponent cannot return.

Tennis will always be a life long activity for me, but I have already written an essay about winning a tennis match being a process. As I step into my dream of becoming a licensed architect, the process of designing would be something that I would like to use. Designing a house is similar to constructing an essay: some are literal and others are metaphorical.
