I believe that I have improved from my first couple of Critical Responses to the first major essay. I had struggled a little with wordiness and passive voice in my first Critical Response. My second Critical Response has not been graded yet. I believe that our lessons on wordiness and passive voice have helped me to become a better writer with the first major essay. I have continuously done well with adding sources as well as citing those sources in my papers. I always have peers specifically check for grammar mistakes as well as rely on my workshop group to grade my child’s draft. I hope to continue to improving my writing as the semester goes on.
