I am a Junior in Molecular and Cellular Biology with hopes of becoming a physician by going to
medical school. My research involves learning about endothelial cell mechanotransduction and
the junction specific proteins which are localized at focal adhesions. In my current project, I am
quantifying the amounts of these proteins under static conditions to see how they differ when
endothelial cells are subjected to differing substrate rigidities. When not working in the lab, I
enjoy working out, reading, and binge watching tv shows.

Undergraduate Student, Molecular & Cellular Biology

I am a Junior in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I hope to become a medical geneticist with a MD-PhD in Genetics. My research involves learning about the functions of different domains of the cadherin. Currently, I am working on truncating out the intracellular domain, while leaving the actin-binding domain intact, and testing its functionality. When not working in the lab, I enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and watching movies.
