Cheater Cheater Pumpkin Eater was a fun experience to me because I was able to see how if I were to plagiarize, it would catch everything. When I was writing without citing my sources, and check to see if the plagiarism catcher would catch my mistake, it was able to catch everything I plagiarized. I learned that Plagiarizing is very dangerous because if you miss a source, you can get into a big trouble. Also, there were some that wasn’t considered as plagiarism because it was paraphrased. Like Professor Hays said if you use more than 3 words then it is considered as plagiarism. I believe this tool is really helpful to many professors because they are able to check if their students actually did their work, or plagiarized the whole thing. Therefore, I was able to learn how plagiarism tool can catch many people’s plagiarism, and that it gave many students a lesson they should never plagiarize.
