Into the Wild —A. V. Cloe

Hello, and welcome to my writing portfolio!

As an avid hiker and outdoorsmen, I have spent the past five summers camping in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in Northern Minnesota. Not only does this area provide breathtaking views, but it is also quite peaceful. Being surrounded by wildlife without cell phone service, with nothing but the sound of the wind brushing against the trees is the perfect scene for me to imagine whenever I need to write.

Throughout the different units of this course, I learned how to analyze, research, synthesize, and revise my writing. Along the way, I have gained a better appreciation for writing and improved upon my writing skills. Creating this portfolio has also helped me revise some of the assignments from this semester as well.
