Brendan has been named the new theme leader of the Regenerative Biology and Tissue Engineering (RBTE) theme at the campus Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology. The RBTE is the central hub of tissue engineering research on the Illinois campus, with its 20+ faculty members coming from diverse disciplines including mechanical/chemical/bio engineering, materials science, molecular/cellular/developmental biology, animal science, kinesiology, and veterinary medicine.
