Dr. Harley has receive a 3-year R03 grant from NIH’s National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS) entitled ‘Biomimetic scaffold anisotropy and biomolecule conjugation to direct tendon regeneration.’ The goal of this effort is to explore ways to create structurally aligned biomaterials able to be implanted in the body to enhance tendon regeneration after injury.
