In my childhood, reading and writing are not very happy things for me. After passing the age of enjoying interesting fairy tales and adventures stories, I more and more found reading to be a terrible thing- I hate those perplexing metaphors of the author’s emotions and those complicated statements to prove an essay’s thesis. Therefore, I started to find my own way of reading and discovered great attraction in science and detective fictions. It has  influenced my life and also my major of being an engineer, in order to make my own creations . In high school, when more and more reading and writing works came to me, I decided make choices, that I try to do my best of them when not affecting my major subjects. I enjoy working on topics that can inspire  my imagination and give me chances to present logical analysis, so the Rhet105 class definitely helped me build ability on this side. Although I can hardly give extra hours for this class, its communicative class atmosphere and friendly teaching style have broadened my horizon helped with my adaptation into the campus.
