Project Welcome: Libraries and Community Anchors Planning for Resettlement and Integration of Refugees and Asylum Seekers
The Mortenson Center for International Library Programs, in partnership with the American Library Association (ALA), sought to learn and articulate ways libraries can address the information needs of refugees and asylum seekers in their resettlement and integration process. The IMLS-funded “Project Welcome” has produced among other resources, guides for library staff and stakeholders on serving refugees and inform other community members on issues affecting refugees.
