Join Us! Second Annual Library Research Showcase (November 12, 2014, 12:30-4pm)

The University Library invites the campus community and friends of the library to its Second Annual Library Research Showcase from 12:30-4PM on Wednesday, November 12, 2014. Library faculty and academic professionals will present their research, which impacts a wide variety of library services as well as the global LIS profession and other scholarly fields. At the Showcase, you’ll find posters, tech demos, and lightning talks on digital humanities, the ethics of archives, information seeking behaviors, preservation both digital and analog, data, and more. A welcome and opening remarks by Dean of Libraries John Wilkin will precede the lightning talks.

Save the Date! Library Research Showcase

The University Library invites the campus community to a Library Research Showcase from 12:30-4PM on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Library faculty and academic professionals will present their research, which impacts a wide variety of library services as well as the global LIS profession and other scholarly fields. At the Showcase, you’ll find posters, tech demos, and lightning talks on information seeking behaviors, scholarly communications practices, digital humanities, global libraries and education, the history of libraries as well as sport in Latin America, and more. A welcome and opening remarks by Dean of Libraries John Wilkin and Executive Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Melanie Loots will precede the lightning talks.
