Maher receiving his Campus Award for Excellence in Faculty Leadership from John Wilkin, Interim Provost
William Maher, University Archivist and Professor of Library Administration at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is one of four faculty members honored with Campus Awards for Excellence in Faculty Leadership. Additionally, Maher has been chosen to receive the Chancellor’s Medallion this June, one of the highest honors available on campus.
This year the American Library Association Annual conference will be hosted in Chicago, Illinois from June 22-27. The theme is “Transforming Our Libraries, Ourselves.” If you’re there, consider stopping by to see U of I librarians present their work at one of the events below!
Antonio Sotomayor, Latin American & Caribbean Studies Librarian and Assistant Professor at the University Library at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has won the José Toribio Medina Book Award from The Seminar on the Acquisition of Latin American Library Materials (SALALM).
