Jim Hahn and Qiang Jin were awarded a Research and Publication grant to support their research project titled, “Formative Evaluation of Linked Library Data.”

JoAnn Jacoby, head of Reference, Research and Scholarly Services unit, was elected Vice-Chair/Chair-Elect of ALA’s Library Research Round Table.

Kathleen Kern, of the Reference, Research and Scholarly Services unit, was elected as Vice-President/President-Elect of ALA’s Reference and User Services Association (RUSA).

Becky Smith, of Business Information Services, was elected as a member-at-large of RUSA’s Business Reference and Services Section (BRASS).

Sarah Williams, Funk Library, was elected to serve on the Executive Committee of USAIN (United States Agricultural Information Network). Sarah will serve a two-year term as a Director, starting June 1^st.
