Qian Ma

Qian Ma is a current student in Electrical Engineering. She is an undergraduate TA in ECE 385. She is also the undergraduate student assistant in both Engineering International Student Programs and Engineering Pathways.

Research interests, internships, or career goals:
I’m working on a 3D mesh segmentation project on campus with the Computational Imaging Group. I’m also interested in IC and VLSI design related research topics.

Last summer I had an internship at AMD and worked on analog IC noise analysis.

Advice for Engineering international students:
There are so many opportunities and resources on campus that people can take advantage of. Sometimes it might seem intimidating at the beginning, but the results after trying things out are usually better than expected.
