Curricular Practical Training (CPT) workshop for F-1 students
CPT is designed for students that are interested in utilizing an off-campus work opportunity that is related to their field of study and is important and integral to their curriculum or thesis topic. The workshop will include a presentation followed by a question and answer session. The workshop will take place next Thursday the 2nd of May in Lincoln Hall Room 1000 at 1 PM. Undergraduate Awards
“The Bailey Undergraduate awards are $3000 awards ($1500/semester) given each year to undergraduate students at the University of Illinois who have demonstrated positive impact and commitment as a result of service, community involvement, leadership, and action.
Leadership Awards
The Bailey Leadership Awards are $5000 awards ($2500/semester) given each year to four exceptional upcoming seniors who have made a demonstrated impact on the University of Illinois campus during their initial three years on campus in one or more of the following areas: Social Justice, Environment, Interfaith Cooperation, and Global Engagement. Students who have previously received a Bailey Scholarship and will graduate during the upcoming year may still apply, but a Bailey Leadership award and Bailey Scholarship cannot both be received in the same academic year.”
CRCC Asia – China Internship Program

A one, two or three month unpaid internship in one of China’s largest cities (Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen). Internships available in many fields including Engineering, IT and Green Technology. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a degree program, has a strong academic record, and an interest in foreign travel and culture. China Internship Program starts each month all year round. Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply at least six weeks prior to program start date to organize internship placement.
DAAD RISE – Summer Research Internship in Germany

The RISE interns are matched with a doctoral student whom they assist and who will also serve as their mentor.

UAS7 is an alliance of seven leading Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Germany. The Internship Program (IP) offers research opportunities at UAS7 campus research laboratories and institutes. Internships available in Biomedical and Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, Nanoscience, Physical Metrology, Technology and Applied Physics Degree- seeking students at an accredited U.S. college or university with strong academic record eligible to apply (U.S. citizenship not required). Successful IP applicants receive €1000 UAS7 Travel Scholarship.
