Graduate students, Justin Nevill and Daniel Rhee, went to Albany after the tornado outbreak 21-21 January 2017 to perform a damage survey. They collected data form damaged residential and commercial structures as well as tree fall directions. The tornado was rated EF-3 by the National Weather Service.
