Rachel Kovar, Xulai Xu and Justin Sass presented at the College of Engineering Undergraduate Research Resource Fair on Jan 30th, 2017. They presented results of their work as an undergraduate research students in the Wind Engineering Group. They analyzed debris using a post-storm aerial photo of Joplin, MO along with centerline of the tornado and wind speeds. Also they used an alternate approach to discover the behavior of the damage from the Moore, OK tornado, with the primary focus to determine anomalies that presented themselves in the post-storm aerial photos.
