Two new papers on seismic behavior and design of multitiered braced frames are now available in the “Just Released” online section of the ASCE Journal of Structural Engineering:
Imanpour, A., Tremblay, R., Davaran, A., Stoakes, C., and Fahnestock, L. (2016). “Seismic Performance Assessment of Multitiered Steel Concentrically Braced Frames Designed in Accordance with the 2010 AISC Seismic Provisions.” J. Struct. Eng., 10.1061/(ASCE)ST.1943-541X.0001561, 04016135.
Imanpour, A., Tremblay, R., Fahnestock, L., and Stoakes, C. (2016). “Analysis and Design of Two-Tiered Steel Braced Frames under In-Plane Seismic Demand.” J. Struct. Eng., 10.1061/(ASCE)ST.1943-541X.0001568, 04016115.
Abstracts are now being accepted for the 2017 SSRC Annual Stability Conference, March 21-24, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas. Researchers are encouraged to submit an abstract summarizing ongoing or recently completed research on stability of metal structures, or metal-concrete composite structures.

Abstracts are due by 5:00 pm (CDT) on August 5, 2016. This due date is firm and no late submissions will be accepted due to the tight schedule required for the final program.
The program Committee will make the final program selections based on the applicability of the subject, and evaluation of the abstract, available space in the program, and assurance that the author will attend the conference to present his/her paper. Notification of acceptance will be made the week of August 22, 2016. Full papers must be submitted by December 19, 2016.
