About Me

The sprout of a seed, emanating leaves of transcending colors, branching out, growing endlessly out of love, like me. I was born out of love that extensively grows each day one of my earliest memories is planting a tree with my dad. When preserving life for any living organism I feel happy, they are what I like to call my friends. I grew up surrounded by greenery and nature in Waukegan Illinois. I am the youngest of my family and have three older siblings, I love to travel with my family and learn more about my culture. I attended Cristo Rey St.Martin College Prep High school where I had the unique experience of developing a work ethic through our work-study program. I got to work at the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center where I not only learned about devastating genocide but how to be a more positive person by meeting Holocaust survivors who didn’t let their negative experiences suppress their happiness. I was awarded the Evans scholarship through the Caddie Academy which is why I am at UIUC today through four years of caddying. With a lot of perseverance, hard work, and the support of my friends, family, and teachers I continue to grow through the power of love. I like to reflect on how I got to this point in my life and mindfulness and manifesting my reality has brought me closer to realizing that I am exactly where I’m supposed to be which is one of the many reasons as to why I’m glad I choose to be an English Major following a Pre-Med track.
