Summer 2015 Presentations by Library Faculty and Academic Professionals

Over the summer, Library Faculty and Academic Professionals were busy presenting all over the world. The topics were as wide-ranging as the innovative addition of video studios in libraries to how oral history plays an important role in collective memory. Some other topics included digital humanities, preserving and searching data, and the many ways librarianship and instruction intersect. Hensley Awarded for Leadership at American Library Association Annual Conference

MerindaKayeHensley_photoMerinda Kaye Hensley, Instructional Services Librarian and Assistant Professor, University Library, has received the 2015 Leadership Award from The Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) Library School Alumni Association (LSAA). LSAA presents its awards each year at the American Library Association Annual Conference. The Leadership Award is given to an alum who has graduated in the past ten years and shown leadership in the field of library and information science.
