Lynne Thomas Wins Tenth Hugo Award

Lynne M. Thomas, head of The Rare Book & Manuscript Library, has won her tenth Hugo Award—science fiction’s most prestigious award. She received the award for Best Semiprozine, a category with seventy-eight nominees, for her work in Uncanny Magazine, Thomas serves as the co-editor-in-chief and co-publisher along with her husband, Michael Damian Thomas.

Hensley, Johnson, Song, and Teper Named to Spring 2022 List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students

At the end of every semester students are given the opportunity to rate instruction through the Instructor and Course Evaluation System (ICES) questionnaire forms. These forms are maintained by Measurement and Evaluation, Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning. Several University Library faculty were recognized on Spring 2022’s List of Teachers Ranked as Excellent by Their Students and we wish to highlight these individuals for this accomplishment.
