Dear future Rhet 105 students,

Here I have included a few of my original and revised works from this semester.  I have also included reflections on what I thought about the original assignment, and what I learned through revising them.

I learned a lot in this class, considering that it was my first real college English class. The papers I have written for this class are unlike any that I have ever written before, and have challenged me more than I thought they would.

I chose the papers that I did because I saw room for improvement in each of them.  I felt as though if I sat down and revised them I could really make them better.  I could have done that for each and every paper that I have written this year, but the assignment only requires four.

After looking at my original and revised essays, I hope that you will understand the transformation that my writing went through.  I also hope that it will help you with your future papers, or revisions.

After reading these essays I that you will have a better idea of what Rhet 105 and college English is all about.  I promise it is not too scary.
