I learned a lot through writing and researching this paper. I spent a countless amount of time researching and reading different sources just to turn around and change my thesis.

I made some major changes to this paper during my revision.  Right before I started my research paper I came across some more recent articles about my topic and decided to actually switch my stance and therefore my thesis.  I then had to go and research and look for new sources that supported my new thesis.  All of that almost negated the whole point of writing my annotated bibliography.  To update this paper, I changed my “working thesis” to my new thesis and I deleted sources that I did not use in my paper while inserting new annotated sources.  This was almost like redoing the whole paper as I deleted four previous sources and added five new ones.

I learned a lot about revising when revising this paper, because I really did go back and change a lot of it.  I also learned about how much a perspective on a topic can change just by reading a few new sources with an open mind.

With this paper I went with almost a complete makeover, although I really just updated my annotated bibliography for my research paper.
