Essay I reflection

I learned a lot about writing through this assignment.  I also learned a lot about my writing through this assignment.  This was my very first college paper, and I was being tested on where I stood as a collegiate writer.

I learned how to make, and what to use in a proper analysis paper.  I had never written such a paper in high school, so this paper was a bit of a challenge for me.

Throughout my revision of this paper I decided to make a few changes.  I made all of the grammar errors that where advised, and also elaborated on specific areas of my paper.  I went into more depth with certain, more relevant, topics, and cut other less-relevant topics.

I think about this paper much different now that I am revising it then I felt when I wrote it. I was very close-minded about the topic, and about the clock, but now with my other experiences around campus, combined with a more holistic view of the paper, I do look at this assignment a little differently.  I felt as if i was just writing down what I saw, and now I look at it more of writing down what I am thinking when I see it.

When revising this paper, I took the comments into great consideration.  I addressed each, and every one and even expanded on a few topics, while cutting some others out. I read the paper over and over again and decided it was much better this time; I feel as if it fits the rubric much better.

I enjoyed looking back on my writing, even from a few short months ago, and seeing how far I have come.
