These are my research interests and eventual publications in statistics and data science and topics about pedagogy.
Statistics and Data Science Research Interests
My current interests are dimension reduction techniques for normal and non-normal data, applied multivariate methods, and text mining.
Teaching and Pedagogical Research Interests
My current interests center on technologically-enhanced learning, improving student engagement, and pushing students to use their agency inside and outside of the classroom. Specific methods of interest are continuous management systems, reproducibility in the course workflow and classroom, and student confidence and placemaking in the statistics discipline. I strongly believe in increasing efforts to recruit, retain, and sustain underrepresented students in STEM.
