Dana’s e-Portfolio

Welcome to my reflective e-Portfolio on Management of eLearning.  It chronicles my journey through the paradigm shift from pencil and paper learning to technology-rich classrooms.  I have a sense of generational divide here because there are those of us who preceded technology and those who followed.  In any event, it has been a journey beyond my comfort zone, but one I’m glad I made.  I can now envision a learning environment that is far beyond traditional, and that excites me.

Here you will find evidence on how I accomplished my goals of better understanding eLearning possibilities, practices, technical specifications, online program management, stages in managment of e-learning, and research on the topic.

The goals of this course are to:

  • Understand the relevance of eLearning practices in Training and Development in academic or corporate settings.
  • Develop a comprehensive and strategic understanding of online program management issues.
  • Understand the various stages of eLearning programs and initiatives in an organizational context.
  • Analyze management practices that support and facilitate the various stages of eLearning implementation and maintenance.
  • Conduct research that guides informed decision-making in eLearning environments.
