The Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) recently launched a project called ‘Development of Market Access and Post-Harvest Services for Small Holder Farmers’ (D-MAPS) in Ghana. Ten thousand smallholder farmers will benefit through the increased access to markets and competitive Farmer Based Organizations. Concern Universal, a UK NGO, will be implementing the project with the Practical Care International and Peasant Farmers Association of Ghana, as well as Ghana’s Ministry of Food and Agriculture, and the Ghana Grain Council.
